Year 5/6 Assembly

This morning the year 5/6 students demonstrated admirable resilience and versatility by adapting their assembly on the fly to cater to the increasing demands of the management of the COVID-19 risks.

With the assembly officially cancelled, the Year 5/6 students nonetheless rallied and ran their assembly for the benefit of their peers in the years 1/2 and 3/4 classes.

The goal of the assembly was to showcase some of the amazing ballads that had been written earlier in the term (thankyou Mitchell Burton, Ella Kuiper and Taylah Wisewould for offering your ballads for a public hearing!) and to perform some skits that they had prepared in drama showcasing the Bullying No Way! Message in preparation for Friday’s National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.

We are very sorry you could not attend and we look forward to being able to make another presentation for you at a later stage. Short video clips of the assembly will be uploaded onto the Year 5/6 Connect class site.

Primary teachers also presented the values awards for the years 1-6 students.
