School Council

The school council has a role in the planning and evaluation of the strategic directions and priorities of the school and the financial arrangements necessary to achieve these objectives. It assists in formulating codes of conduct for the students at the school and takes part in the selection of the school principal or other members of the teaching staff with approval from the Regional Executive Director. 

School council is responsible for promoting the school in the community and liaising with other committees within the school to ensure open communications.

Comprised of a cross section of community members, including school teaching and administrative staff, general community members and parents, it reflects the varied interests and experiences these people bring to aid in the efficient and effective functioning of the school.
